These terms apply to your use of this website and to services provided by H. Sharma & Co. ("we", "us"). Each client engagement is also covered by a written engagement letter. If the engagement letter and these terms differ, the engagement letter applies.

Our Services

We provide bookkeeping and payroll administration services. We are not a CPA firm. We do not provide audit, review, compilation or other attest services, we do not prepare or sign tax returns, and we do not represent clients before the IRS or any state tax authority. Nothing on this website is tax, legal or investment advice.

Your Responsibilities

• You give us accurate and complete information and timely access to your records and software.
• You remain responsible for your business's financial statements, tax filings and payroll tax obligations, including approving payroll runs and payments.
• You keep your own software subscriptions active and paid.

Fees and Payment

Monthly plans are billed in advance in US dollars. Catch-up work, health checks and hourly work are billed as stated in your proposal. Invoices are due within 7 days. We may pause work on an account that is more than 15 days overdue.

On-Time Promise

For monthly bookkeeping plans, if you have sent us everything for the month (statements, receipts, bills and answers to our questions) by the 2nd of the month, we close the previous month's books and send your reports by the 10th. If we miss that date, the fee for that month is waived. The promise does not apply to catch-up work, custom plans or months where information reached us after the 2nd.

Cancellation

Monthly plans run month to month. You may cancel with notice before the start of your next billing month. We will complete the work for any month already paid for.

Confidentiality

We keep your information confidential and use it only to provide our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. We sign a separate confidentiality agreement on request.

Limitation of Liability

We take care in our work and will correct any error we make at no extra charge. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided to us, or for indirect or consequential losses.

The content on this website is for general information only. We may update it, including our prices, at any time. Prices agreed in a signed proposal will not change during the period stated in it.
